PRIVACY POLICY

1INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Using the categories set out in the California Consumer Privacy Act (Civil Code § 1798.140(v)), we collect: identifiers (real name, postal address, email address, phone number, and Internet Protocol address); commercial information (records of products purchased and order history); internet or other electronic network activity information (browsing history and information regarding your interaction with our website and advertisements); and inferences drawn from the above to support advertising. We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information, characteristics of protected classifications, biometric information, or precise geolocation data.

2HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use your information to: process and fulfill your orders; arrange production and shipping through Printful and Apliiq; communicate with you about your order; provide customer support and handle guarantee claims; send marketing emails and text messages if you have opted in; measure and improve our advertising (including through the Meta Pixel); operate, secure, and improve our website; and comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

We are not in the business of selling your personal information for money. We share information with the following service providers so we can run our store:

4COOKIES AND TRACKING (INCLUDING THE META PIXEL)

We use cookies and tracking technologies to run the site, remember your cart, measure traffic, and support advertising. The Meta Pixel tracks your activity on our site and sends it to Meta so we can measure ad performance and show relevant ads on Facebook and Instagram. Under US state privacy laws, this kind of cross-context/targeted ad tracking is generally treated as "sharing" (and sometimes "selling") of personal information: of the roughly 20 states with comprehensive privacy laws, all but a handful expressly require businesses to let consumers opt out of this activity, and at least 11 states legally require businesses to honor the Global Privacy Control browser signal (see Section 7 for how to opt out).

5MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS AND YOUR CHOICES

If you opt in, we may send you marketing emails and/or text messages about products and promotions.

We may still send you non-marketing messages about your order (such as confirmations and shipping updates) even if you opt out of marketing.

6DATA RETENTION

We keep your information for as long as needed to fulfill orders, provide support, honor our guarantee, and meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements, after which we delete or de-identify it.

7US STATE PRIVACY RIGHTS AND HOW TO OPT OUT

Depending on your state of residence, you may have some or all of the following rights: the right to know/access the personal information we collect and how we use and share it; the right to delete your personal information; the right to correct inaccurate personal information; the right to data portability; the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information and of targeted advertising; and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. As of early 2026, 20 US states have comprehensive consumer privacy laws in effect, including California (CCPA/CPRA), Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, and Montana, with Indiana, Kentucky, and Rhode Island the newest, all effective January 1, 2026. We honor these rights for all US customers regardless of state.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at max@groundedsupply.co with your request. We will verify your request and respond within the timeframe required by your state's law (for example, California generally allows 45 days, with one possible 45-day extension). You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.

DO NOT SELL OR SHARE MY PERSONAL INFORMATION / OPT OUT OF TARGETED ADVERTISING

Because our use of the Meta Pixel may be considered "sharing" or "selling" under state privacy laws, you can opt out of this type of advertising in the following ways:

• Adjust your Meta ad settings in your Facebook/Instagram Accounts Center under "Ad preferences" (accountscenter.facebook.com).
• Use the Digital Advertising Alliance's opt-out tool at optout.aboutads.info. (Note: the Network Advertising Initiative's separate cookie-based opt-out tool ceased operation in September 2025; the DAA tool is the current industry standard.)
• Enable the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal in a supported browser or extension (globalprivacycontrol.org). We honor GPC as a valid opt-out of the sale/sharing of personal information; at least 11 states (California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Oregon, and Texas) legally require businesses to honor it.
• Email us at max@groundedsupply.co and we will process your opt-out.

8SECURITY

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, and rely on reputable providers like Stripe and Cloudflare, to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9CHILDREN'S PRIVACY (COPPA)

Our website and products are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, consistent with the federal Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, contact us at max@groundedsupply.co and we will delete it.

10CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Effective date" above shows the latest revision. Changes apply going forward from the date posted.
