I'M NOT A T-SHIRT COMPANY
I've spent my life on jobsites. I'm a superintendent that started framing with my grandpa at 13. I've worked alongside the electricians, plumbers, welders, masons, and operators who build this country every single day. I know the trades. I know the 4 a.m. alarms, the mandatory Saturdays, the inside jokes that only make sense if you've been covered in it.
And one day it hit me: there's streetwear for skaters, for surfers, for gym rats, for gamers, and almost nothing for the people who actually build America. The ones who get told how to do a job by a guy sitting in the office or in the trailer. The ones who make everything work and never get the shirt.
SO I MADE IT. GROUNDED SUPPLY IS FOR US.
MADE RIGHT
Every design is the premium, high quality, stout, keep-it-for-years kind, not the stiff gag-gift kind. And designs are breathable so it doesn't feel like you are wearing a trash bag in the summer.
If the quality doesn't meet your expectations, you've got 90 days for a full money-back guarantee. Send a return request and we will take it back, no fine print. I stand behind every shirt because my name is right here on this page.
THE HUMOR
If you've been on a jobsite, you know the humor runs dark because the work is hard, sometimes dangerous, and laughing about it is how you get through the day. My job is to keep everyone safe, but it doesn't mean I don't know the jokes (has anyone told you that you're doing a good job lately? No? Ya, there is a reason).
So, our humor is built for the people who live it. Most read them and shrug. You read them and grin, because you've been hit before. By electricity. I hope you got that.
Anyway, that's the whole point. These shirts are an inside handshake. If you get it, you get it, and I hope at least one makes you grin even if you don't buy anything. Especially if you don't buy anything.

DROP YOUR NOTE RIGHT HERE
THE NAME
I called it Grounded Supply for a few reasons, and only one of them is an electrical pun ("grounding" is the thing that keeps the current from running through you, which is generally considered good for your health).
BUT THAT'S NOT REALLY WHY.
The world's changing fast. Feels like every year the ground moves a little more under everybody's feet. And the older I get, the more I think the whole point is to stay grounded through it. To keep your feet under you, keep the people you love close, and know exactly who you're willing to sweat for. Because let's be honest: you don't get up at 4:30 a.m. and break your body all day for yourself. You do it for the people waiting at home.
Or you do it for the money. I'm not going to pretend I don't know some of you are here for the money. I do it for the money, and the other stuff too, but the money definitely helps. And that's grounded too, in its own way.
Either way, that's the name. Stay grounded, stay close to your people, and go to work. Preferably in one of my shirts.

It's an X, made of two crossed lightning bolts. The honest reason? There's an X in my name and I wanted to sneak it in. But it turned out to mean more than that. Two bolts crossing is exactly what you don't want to do, cross the hots and you get a very bad day. It's also just two strikes making one mark, the trade and the person who does it, both bringing the power. And if you believe that's why I made it I have some beans to sell you. Mostly, it's a lightning bolt X. If you're reading this deeply into a logo, you might be a weirdo that doesn't mind reading specs... like me.
PRINTING & TURNAROUND
Quick heads up on how this works, because I'd rather you know than be annoyed at me later, and it saves me a few emails. Every shirt is printed to order. I don't sit on a garage full of inventory, which means I'm not shipping you something that's been sitting in a box since last spring. It also means it's not next-day. Give it a few days to get printed, then shipping time on top of that.
If you need it for a specific thing, birthday, retirement, roast the apprentice, whatever. Please order with a little runway and try to give me 15 days.
If something's wrong when it shows up, that's what the 90-day guarantee is for. I haven't touched the shirt you bought. If it's screwed up let me know so I can get your money back to you or a new shirt headed your way. Email me at max@groundedsupply.co. It's a real inbox.
GIVING BACK
This one's personal, so I'll drop the jokes for a second.
My grandfather served in the Navy. My brother's in the Army right now. So this isn't a cause I picked off a list because it tested well. It's my family. Stop Soldier Suicide is the only national nonprofit focused solely on the suicide crisis among U.S. veterans and service members, and the reason they matter is that they go at the underlying stuff: financial strain, post-traumatic stress, the mess of transitioning back to civilian life, before it turns into a crisis.
Being able to talk to someone at your darkest moment can and does save lives. The people who build America and the people who defend it aren't that different, and too many of the men and women who came home are fighting something the rest of us never see.
I'm hoping you won't notice. Not a marketing gimmick, just a promise. 3% of profit, and it goes whether you buy the funny shirt or the one with the mermaid.
MY BROTHER SAYS BUY THE MERMAID ONE THOUGH. FOR THE TROOPS.
90 DAYS. NO QUESTIONS ASKED.
Wear it, wash it, work in it. If the quality does not exceed your expectations, send it back within 90 days and we refund you in full. You do not have to explain yourself.
